Sanwo-Olu appoints ex-Commissioner as Amirul Hajj
Commissioner for Home Affairs, Dr AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef as the Amirul Hajj and leader of the state’s delegation to this year’s Hajj.
The appointment followed AbdulLateef’s track record in Hajj operations.
The former commissioner is entrusted with the general oversight of the 2019 Hajj and to address any operational problem(s) that may come up during the pilgrimage.
The Nation learnt that the appointment letter was signed by the Head of Service of Lagos State, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola.
